Radha Govind Sr. Sec. Public School is an eminent school in Ramgarh Cantt. It was the dream of a person who wants to establish an educational institution to create an environment for better future citizen of mother India. The education for all the children including poor helpless and downtrodden families in the rural and urban areas. Radha Govind Sr. Sec. Public School was established on 12th January 2000 by Sri B. N. Sah in the sacred memory of his mother late Srimati Radha Devi and his father Sri Govind Sah under the management of Radha Govind Public Welfare Society, Ramgarh Cantt. His Excellency Sri Babulal Marandi, the then Chief Minister of Government of Jharkhand inaugurated the administrative block and academic building on 13th May 2001.

Environment

Surrounded by the beauty of nature, this school is situated in a pollution free environment. Comprising of an area of over 2 acre placed about half a kilometre away from the N.H. 33 , this school is accessible from every point of Ramgarh Cantonnment town. It is having excellent, peaceful atmosphere for study and free from chaos and confusion of the town life.

Admission

Admission will be made strictly on the basis of merit. 5% seats are reserved for talented SC/ST students and weaker sections of the society. Birth certificate and the transfer certificate obtained from the previous school are essential at the time of admission.
Subjects available (for Science Stream & Commerce Stream) : Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Economics, Accountancy, Business Studies, Computer Science, Informatics Practices, Physical Education, English, Hindi.

Hostel

Hostel facility is available to the students but restricted to a limited number of seats.Medical Facility is available for the students in the hostel round the clock. Besides the First Aid provision is available in the hostel and vehicle like ambulance remain ready for the service of the school for 24 hours.We always believe in fresh and nutritious food for the children. Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian foods along with milk are served to the children at proper time and term regularly.
